Worst things to happen to Everton in the Pl era:

Johnson. Kenwright. Paul Scharner. Brett Angell. Distin's back pass. Efan Ekoku. Operation Kirkby. Istanbul. The sky money, leading to foriegn investment killing any even playing field. Mike Walker. Walter Smith. Moyes blowing the Lescott money on Bily. The calender order botch job that meant our years start in january. Kroldrup. Villarreal. Clattenburg. Penalties against Fiorentina. Malouda vs Hibbert. Reading at home.

NTL ?
The selling to Johnson?
Lescott for Heitinga?
Poll?
Lazy Yakubu?
Jacobsen being very very poor?
Oldham at home?

Ha, and all things that are far worse than Rooney and the £20m+ that helped the club rebuild (and we would not have needed to if we had a decent owner).

Wayne Rooney never set any high expectations for future Everton talent.
Rooney was just an exceptional player that most future young prospects would simply not be as good as.
Comparisons and fan expectation do not hold back any of our young prospects - just not being very good does that trick.

Well no one will ever now know the Speed thing, but if Gerrard or CARRAGHER had an Everton tattoo.... ?

I don't understand what you're alluding to here....

Speed and Ferguson are Evertonians and I'm unsure why you refer to them as something other than 'True Blues' ?

Clearly there are never once in a generation players as other sides wouldnt fill there ranks with similar. Is this Brain Surgery???

I guess that depends on what you hold once in a generation to mean. With regards to this thread, and Rooney, I take it to mean a world class product of the everton fc academy. Which other sides are full of those? Should I ask a brain surgeon? I'm not the only person not to understand the point you're trying to make. Try using the words you type to make your point more clearly. It's not rocket science now, is it?

Special mention though as being the only one to "man up" on it...

All this rocket science and brain surgery... I can't help but think there's a rocket somewhere missing some hot air and a poster missing some grey matter.

Just searched the pockets of the blue suit I'm wearing and found some marbles, anyone lost some in here??

This is clearly a bot, mods. You can tell by the sentence structure that it's posts are just fragments copied and pasted from other boards. Ban it before it befriends our younger members and starts selling penis extension pills to them.

Ffs. I wish someone had warned me earlier
