Watford mate says he heard rumours of fighting and punches thrown after Friday so I'd imagine it has something to do with that.

Probably wouldn't have been the worst decision had they sacked him once the season was finished, especially had they stayed up. He is a nasty playground bully whom causes more fires than he puts out long-term, but his style of management has gotten them crucial results the last few months. I doubt anyone they get now will be a better motivator.

He's done enough to probably convince another club to give him a ring next season once the panic sets in, same with Moyes and Bruce when they next need a job. The British manager merry-go-round will continue for a few years yet.

Imagine sacking 3 managers in the same season. What a joke of a club.
Their final two fixtures are Man City home and Arsenal away. They are currently 3 points and +4 GD ahead of both Aston Villa and Bournemouth. They can easily still go down. Stupid decision.
