Seems a totally bizarre decision unless following his "we had passengers'" comments there was a major bust up with most of the players.

Total speculation but there must be some things we don't know and are perhaps unlikely to ever be fully revealed.as they sign these non disclosure agreements in return for s hood pay-off. (I think)
You're probably right Chris, seems a bizarre decision with so much at stake.

Weren’t they bottom of the league when he took them over, now they’re probably safe, don’t know what more you can expect him to do tbh. He has a better win rate than the likes of Moyes down at the bottom since going there

his last presser was quite scathing of his own players. Maybe in private he lost it with them. He is quite combative and could have gone too far

But if villa or Bournemouth don’t get at least 3 more points, he will have made Watford safe, which is what he was brought in to do. Given up trying to fathom why owners do what they do. Pearson should be proud to be included in a group of 3 managers to actually beat der greatest team in der werld.

It’s been a weird season altogether, Hassenhutl on the verge of the sack after losing 1-9 at home, Burnley looking down and out at Xmas, and both are winning games for fun since the restart.

Must admit that was my first thought too.i haven't checked this myself but a poster said that's four managers in a year. They do have owners though who like to change their manager at least once a season, so perhaps they've now just advanced to the next level.

:D
