Wowzers. Think we'll get a good reception when we go to Vicarage road?

If there are any Watford fana still here from their previous stint, fear not, we have a manager for you. All you have to do is pay him a completely undeserved king's ransom in wages, do not impediment his totally unique style of football (hoooooooooof) and make sure that your kitchen staff are prepared to pour gravy over his morning coco pops.

You will not regret it!

He may have been in charge of hull as they went down. Incidentally they had a higher win ratio under him than Sam has had his whole career.

Finished up at Watford in a higher league position than they have ever achieved previously. Yeah mate I'm the ignorant one
Its hardly hard to have a better win ratio than sam, he is crap as well and shouldn't be the bench mark. 36.4 win ratio at hull...lets get him in!

30.8 at watford...lets get him in!. just another overrated person who did well for a month or two then goes back into his box.

if he name was Frank davids or something he would never have been in contention

How on earth is getting sacked with Watford in tenth (a club with a mighty 4 seasons in the PL) enough of an achievement for him to come and manage Everton?

You could say Watford are to blame, Silva made it clear to them he wanted to come here, they kept him against his will and he's downed tools.

He had them flying in 4th, they've dropped like a stone since.

It's higher than they have ever finished before. Plus football, for me, doesn't revolve exclusively around the EPL. His record is fantastic. We obviously don't agree.

Agree with this - anyone who paid attention to that Hull side would have known they had barely enough players to field a team, once Bruce had left. They were relegated, but he got them to a league cup semi, and had them playing good football whilst picking up points they weren't entitled to.

I just wish our board had the balls to sack Allardyce now and appoint Silva for the rest of the season.
If it works, it's his job for the next five years.
If not, we find a long term replacement in early summer.
