He'd be miles better than Allardyce. Our board were obviously desperate to get him in but deemed the compensation far too much. Sacking Allardyce and getting Silva in would still be cheaper than the compensation we would have paid. Do it.

Assuming we’d gone for Tuchel and he wouldn’t come, I’d have sounded out Dyche and if that didnt work I’d have begrudgingly stuck with Koeman and given him the January window

I heard he wanted to join us and it split the dressing room, I guess the board have a point but it's strange that they go public with it as it doesn't reflect well on them at all. Maybe we will go after him in the summer when the board realise that Sam and his cronies are not the long term answer.
