He can thread a ball like xavi and iniesta at times, cross it like Beckham at times but sadly he mostly fannys about leaving 5 yard passes short through a lack of care and concentration, doesn't even pretend to want to fall in to a team formation/shape and would rather retire than put his foot in to win the ball. Classic case of an incredible underage talent that simply hasn't the mental strength and application to kick on at senior level.

i really liked him, to be honest i just felt that Koeman didnt have the patience to work on players like him.

the fitness issues could surely have been sorted, would have been great for us as one of a 4-3-3 if a bit of patience had been shown

That was December i think. His last game may have been at home to Leicester in the FA Cup? Think he set up Lukaku
