Watford Blame Everton

Worse run club than us Watford and that is saying something. Blaming Everton is convenient and we obviously did have an effect on him 'a couple of months back' but they are just deflecting away from the fact that they are a truly despicable club who have had 12 Managers in 10 years, soon to be 13 Managers. They only have to lose a few games on the run and the Manager is sacked. Been doing it for years and they are just bitter now as they could have had 8 million quid from Everton just a couple of months ago.

Clubs (including Watford) go poaching for players and Managers whenever they feel like and without any care and consideration the other clubs. not saying that it is right, it just is what it is. If they one day show a bit of loyalty towards a Manager, they may get some loyalty back. Works both ways. No pity for them whatsoever.

Cost to get Silva, was 15m, now free.

Pay Allardyce off, 8m tops.

We could swop Allardyce for Siva and save 7m to get the choice Moshiri wanted all along.

If I was Moshiri I'd do it tomorrow.

The football would improve under Silva to want it is now, I'd bet my left bollock on it.

..it is amazing that they could’ve picked up £20m for him a few months ago.

Imagine the scenes of silva came in for Sam.

With the arrival of tosun and walcott though, I feel faith has been given to Sam.

Come on mosh. Do it.

This will be "Everton, that".

We sack Sam, hire Silva, then get relegated. Sam upholds his never-been-relegated record.

Up the Blues.

I think Sam is getting more stick than warranted at the moment. These players have showed they will pretty much do what they want and have underperformed for 3-4 different managers on the bounce now. So what makes anyone think they will magically start listening to a guy who has left or been sacked under a cloud from his last 4 jobs after short periods in charge?

The initial organisation and stability Allardyce brought was plain to see for everyone, and he's said as clearly as anyone how baffled he is by the change around in application these last couple of weeks. I don't blame Allardyce at all for this, and as I said recently in another post, I'm not sure there's a manager in the history of football, and certainly not someone who's just been sacked for not having focus or desire, that could turn this bunch around.

Neither Walcott or Silva striker me as needing a certain style of manager - in many ways neither looks very much an Allardyce 'style' player really anyway
