I wonder how many heads have just popped off in kopite households, the day it's officially announced (assuming we don't balls it up) is going to be an amazing spectacle.
I think most proper Liverpool supporters will be delighted for us

I spy with my little eye something beginning with ... S

Ha Ha Liverpool during Chinese new year.

Imagine being so sceptical that any bit of good news you hear you automatically want to find negatives.

What emptiness people must have in their lives

Indeed.

All those miserable arl gets whom shrugged their shoulders and refused to get arsed when we were told.....a mere week ago....that Rom's contract was agreed and was just waiting to be signed.....well, they should be ashamed of themselves

There we have it then: "hopefully in the near future".

'kin ell, could they be any more vague than that?

We are miles off.
So you don't think this is good news? wow, I'd love to know what you would consider good news. I mean, this is the party wnich could be the one major stumbling block to PAUSE, A Riverside Stadium for Everton PAUSE saying that talks are going well

If you read the statement what is there substantially? There's a hope that his organisation can do business on a stadium sometime in the future. That's what he said.

It's the very definition of kicking the can down the road.

Is it good news, it's just something we have been told numerous times before? Not trying to be negative here.

I'd class it as good news. The confirmation that Peel are behind it highlights it is moving in the right direction.

The claims of "Peel don't want anything to do with us and are playing us like fiddles" can be banished.

Imagine the uproar on here if Peel stated "no comment" or "we haven't discussed anything yet"

I see your point, but it's all just words at the moment

Nice to hear of course, and I live in hope as we all do, but at this moment in time it essentially means nothing

Sorry, I'll get over my current funk, it's just the whole Lukaku palaver has kind of broken me

Cheerful Mikey will be back at some point I'm sure
