With all this doom and gloom around Koeman. Lets just have a simple Poll was Neville Southall any good?
Let have a enquiry why this god of goodison is not working at the club , just having his presence about the place is enough to enspire players . Physco pat is back , get the greats back were they belong .

Van Der Sar.

Off the top of my head I cant recall too many keepers that have been class over a prolonged period of time, maybe even Van Der Sar left it late to move to a European giant ?

Agree on the Nev bit, Paul, but it's a bit harsh on Ajax tbh. If you mean this century then fair enough, but they won the European Cup 3 times consecutively from 71-73. And by the time Van Der Sar moved to ManU, he'd already won the Champions League in '95 - where he played a blinder throughout. If anything his career had already peaked AT a European giant, well before he moved to ManU, winning the Champions League again in 2008 with them. Ajax fans used to chant 'Keeper of the Century' for him; but the last one.

I am aware of talks of Ajax and their great side of the 90's, what I was referring to is the fact he went on to Fulham in particular. Usually the procedure goes something like, Ajax, inter, united then Madrid. Not literally but usually world talent has a starter, then a big club in another league then moves onto the pinnacle of their career at a United, Barca, Madrid.

Personally my favourite of all time is varied between Schmeichal, Khan, Casillas (?) not sure about the porto move, but favourite has to be Buffon.
Only reason I don't put Nev in there is because I seen him at the very end of his career when I was a nipper.
