Signed my all time favourite Everton player, who single handily saved us from relegation and also changed the culture within the club forever.

For that I’ll be forever grateful.

RIP Walter.
 

He signed some great players when he started, but sadly Johnson did not have the money to pay them and they were soon sold, John Collins and Olivier Dacourt are two of them I can remember. Soon sold as we could not afford them. he came on a promise of spending and growth and kept us afloat during some dire periods.

Was it aa 3-0 loss at Middlesboro in the cup, that was his final game? I liked Walter, a man of integrity.
 

He didn’t do particularly well for us, with some reasons that were not to do with him, but he is deservedly a great above the border.

As my pal @COYBL25 said, the legacy of signing Super Kev will always induce fond memories.

I think in fairness, he got had off by Peter Johnson tbh, like everyone else.

False promises of money to spend.
