Did White Combe & Black Combe this morning in the searing English heat, it’s just shy of a mountain but was surprisingly tiring as I’m just that unfit. Beautiful views from the top a mere phone camera can’t capture.

Got a couple of good ones in this week in the Lakes, St Sunday crag earlier in the week with the family, near Helvellyn. Simple pull up then back via Grisedale Tarn.
Today did a great ridge walk with just my lad up from Kirkstone to the end of High St, then back over ill bell to troutbeck. Wasn't that hard a hike on paper as the Kirkstone start gave us 400+ meters, but absolutely rinsed by the heat. Weather off the scale, sat down on the tops where you normally get a bit of a chill breeze, even on sunny days, and it felt toasty.

Haha there’s a couple of diffeeent starting points. It’s not a difficult walk but you get brilliant views from the top. Can see Ireland and sometimes even Wales.

Yeh I’d say so. We ran down about 50% and we were just big kids in our hiking boots.
I couldn't share my pictures as they were too big. Need to find a way to make them suitable for the site.

To a true northerner like me it was about 22 degrees with no breeze.
I walked into Durham from my house last week. A lovely 5 mile walk along the River Wear. I'm not skilled enough or fit enough to tackle the stuff you guys are talking about but I get up to Scotland at least once a year and we always try to do at least one walk.
