Great pic, i love Snowdon, but hate people haha last week i went up to Carnedd Llewelyn, was fantatsic, did see a few people like but only one all day face to face, and had that summit to myself. If you fancy it look for the Gwern Gof Isaf Campsite campsite on the A5, you can leave your car there at the owners house for 2 quid
Funny you should say that, I was up that way on a stag do last weekend, staying around Bethesda. Had a bit of a walk around the valleys up there, not a single other person other than the few of us walking there. Scenery is incredible but just doesn't have the draw of Snowdon.

Sounds boss that. Apart from the running bit but I'd love to bin off everything and just go walking for 3 days solo.

I was initially going with my mate, but that all went West when he decided to groom my nutty sister in law on Facebook and start meeting up with her in secret. Knowing full well my missus would go nuts, due to her knowing all about his sordid and disease ridden past lol

A friend of mine is currently trying to do all of the Munros this year. He did all the 3000ft mountains in Wales last year.

But intense for me though, I'd maybe do a few in the year, but not 50+
My favorite hobby when young in the Ribble valley Yorkshire area see Singleton water falls and then die.

Do you intend to jump off the waterfall and drown or do you have another preferred method of death ?

It’d be much better all round if you went to Switzerland and lef them do it the clinic for you.

I believe they have waterfalls too.

I'll book the flights

Off to Loweswater on Sunday for three days of fell running / walking around Loweswater and Buttermere.

Weather looking good, got a b and b booked in a cracking country pub and no missus / kids :celebrate:

Will post pics ;)

Kirkstile Inn by any chance? Lovely part of the world that, bit further off the beaten track than Windermere and the likes so far more peaceful. Loweswater Gold is a cracking pint too if you're into your real ale

Beautiful bit of the world that Joey.

Although suicide normally isn't classed as a hobby...
No the booklet I read in the 1980's was once you have seen Ingleton waterfalls , and its a hike - you will see nothing better till you die ........ Clapham next door before Ingleton is also a cute place to visit for walks.....have a cuppa in Ye old naked Man.......

The very place mate.

Never been before to the pub before, but I`ve camped at Buttermere, so know the area well.

I deliberately chose the area for the very reason that it`s off the beaten track for my running / walking.

I also chose it for it`s real ale too, as that`s all I drink and I`m a big fan of the Loweswater Gold ;)

It dosent but what I like is looking at all the ridges in the distance and the solitude. Plus on the Glydetau and Carneddau you see feral goats and ponies, there nice.

Snowdon ranger is the best route if you want a quiet relaxing walk up IMO
