my uncle radiator broke down overheating on his way to Dent in Yorkshire it was a hot day this Yorkshire man was watering his garden and seen him in difficulty, my uncle got out in the traffic jam and he ran as fast as he could to put the hosepipe away lol
My uncle knocked on his door and he charged him for water, and an egg to solve his leaking radiator..... :D

I deliberately chose the area for the very reason that it`s off the beaten track for my running / walking.

I also chose it for it`s real ale too, as that`s all I drink and I`m a big fan of the Loweswater Gold ;)

You won't be disappointed mate great little pub with a lovely beer garden overlooking Mellbreak if the weather's right. Loweswater and a few of their others on draught and the food is decent too if you're eating there. Enjoy ;)

His car broke down ( Ford Zephyr- big ugly thing ) due to it having multiple tiny holes in the radiator due to rust. He was with his missus.

He was in the middle of nowhere, so they had to kip in the car.

The following day he magicked a radiator out somewhere, even though he was in the middle of nowhere and someone to fit it too.

Nijmegen, in Holland, is a great walk over four days. Have done that five times, 32 miles a day. Have also done the three peaks in Great Britain. Once was enough.

Quality cafe that, Settles finest. I'll be there in a couple of weeks having a full English after the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
