Don't seem very skillful, but no doubt he has pace and finishing. Hope he's as crafty as kanchelski. 9m, abit too expensive.

Hell no! Havent bothered with Russian games this season.

He has played 17 games this season so far, scored 4 goals and picked up 6 yellow cards. Which is the most from anyone else in his team. Which either means he dives likes a swan or he loves a good tackle.

If we are getting him he needs to cut down on the yellows like Felliani had too. But pace on the right side has been missing for ages. A true winger would be great for us. Hope he is as good as most on here are going on about. If he can hold the ball and dribble I'd be made up.

I will believe it when I see a photo of him holding an Everton shirt. That is how dissillusioned I have become over us signing any players.

OK, got an e-mail back from my CSKA-supporting friend today. Here's what he says:

"Yes, it did mention today in the newspaper that he is to leave. They are playing well at the moment (2nd in Division) and he is good for them. Obviously very quick. Not skillfull like Arshavin but can score goals. Yes, I remember Kanchelskis well and he is similar although Kanchelskis was to "cut inside" more and score more than Bystrov. I think Bystrov has good assists this season. Top ten player in division."

Pretty much reinforces what the youtube clips show and nothing more, but I thought I'd put it up here anyway. We've been crying out for pace and natural width for several years now, so I'm quite keen to see this one happen.
