Absolutely......i really liked Joey as a player for us. The safety valve of having a centre back with his recovery pace was such an asset. But no doubt he could go haywire. I don't remember the Wigan one you refer to, but his two classics were

1) Squaring the ball to an unmarked Rooney 5 yards out to score his first goal back at GP for Utd

2) His all time classic, bending down at Charlton away to tie his shoelaces halfway through us defending a corner. Ball whizzing past his head as it went in

Yobo was looking one of the best centre backs we had had in years up until that sending off at Newcastle,the Shearer worldie goal game,he never was the same after that.

I would be extremely surprised. I'd expect he'll be getting a good contract.
