Cause there has been talk of him being offered another contract, clearly I got it wrong, I hold my hands up.No I’m wondering why you thought that picture was real ffs
He'd be perfectly fine as a rotation / second choice left back. But he's far too limited for a team with European aspirations to be starting each week unchallenged. Just imagine how much better we'd be if we had kept Luca Digne, or invested the £15m Mykolenko money on a more like-for-like replacement! He’s definitely improved under Moyes. And it’s a shame Grealish got injured because a season of opportunities learning from him and playing through his passes was lost. He’s not ace but he is a work horse. For the most part he doesn’t make too many bone-headed plays. He’s held his own down the line against class strikers and wingers.
Agree with you there. He’s been unchallenged for years. Any good club challenges its players. You have to earn it and then keep it. He’s good for where we are but, like you said, just think if we had someone who passed and played forward and could score. Makes me miss Baines. Plus, if he gets injured then we’re vulnerable. We need depth there and other positions. Myko as a solid backup is what I’d like to see. He'd be perfectly fine as a rotation / second choice left back. thats because he just plays backwards 99% of the time absolutely useless on the ball the sooner the likes of him and McNeil aren’t in the side the better we will be for it.He’s definitely improved under Moyes.
