Nailed itIf were actually bidding then he would join us because Koeman will have already spoken with him.
Apart from a discussion of past managers in a historical sense, I honestly would never talk about Martinez if others didnt. The default response by some to any statement I make about any subject is to drag Martinez into it...whatever the thread or subject matter is. Surely that is seen?

Pretty sure that's not allowed under the fa rulesIf were actually bidding then he would join us because Koeman will have already spoken with him.
Or he knows Everton's interest will kick start bids from other clubs.

Player agents and media play the biggest part no doubt we will see some stories soonlol good one![]()

I respect your views on Martinez Dave and don't want to drag it back to him.
But, you have previously said that Koeman should be given time. I think you said until next Christmas to judge him.
But since he has arrived you haven't had a positive word to say about him. It's fair enough to say you will give him time but I actually think Evertonians should get behind the bloke until such time as he deserves to be judged (in your view Christmas).
By constantly moaning about everything, not even saying anything positive when we win, being negative about signings like Schneiderlin, you are definitely not "getting behind him". You arn't even trying.
So when you pop up on threads, usually being negative, people struggle to reconcile that with the unwavering support you gave Martinez last year and think you are being a hypocrite.
i think there's a degree of blinkmanship here. I think all the top clubs are waiting to see who bids first, for how much and see Saint's reaction. Not gonna happen. Even if we bid 50m and Southampton accepted, I suspect he he'd have his heart set on a bigger club.
The Koeman factor will count for zilch.
