I think Victor has played really well since his spat with Moyes.

He's playing like he has a point to prove, some of his runs against bolton were immense I hope his injury isn't serious because I've been impressed with him lately.

Bad news as those tend to be long-term injuries. I wonder how he strained knee ligaments though, as it looked like he was clattered on his shin. A broken bone I could certainly understand but a ligament strain?

Victors leg was planted, Nolan had his full weight on his shin so the force had to go somewhere!

Hopefully its not too bad, we need the bodies

Wont be too long out as long as its not a serious one like Mikel's.

I've had a sore knee for 3 weeks after playing footy and the doctor said I probably had a small tear in the ligaments. Usual recovery time she told me was 4-6 weeks. However as long as the knee was corectly supported I could still play with the injury.

I'd imagine Vic will be out for 3-4 weeks based on my own injury and the fact he will have constant physio on it, shortening the recovery time.

He could be out for about a month if some of the ligaments have snapped I'm guessing. I'm just going off when I tore and strained my cruciant knee ligaments last year. It wasnt a bad one but I couldnt walk in it at all the first few days but was told no footlar for 5 weeks.

He'll be getting top draw treatment so it should be less than that but it'll be rebuilding his muscle up that might take a week or two.

In perspective for Arteta's injury he will be 6 months because of the op rather than the injury itself. The injury would mean he's out for 2-3 months or so to heal fully but his knee wouldnt be the same and would probably go again, leading to arthritis in the joint later in life. Because you bend your knee all the time, the ligaments are there to stretch and bend. When they go they never really heal properly because they've snapped.

The op he'll get will tie them up so add another month or 2 for healing, then add another 2 months or so to rebuild the muscle (training, weights etc).

Same might be for Vic so dont be expecting him back soon if that's the case. Or it could be just badly brusied so 2 weeks max.

Im not his biggest fan, but we need bodies at the moment. He hasnt played that badley of late.

Not really getting the rub of the green this season hey!!
