A top-class away performance, the only player who let us down was McGeady.

Not letting his poo-ness ruin this for me though, absolutely buzzing we went there and not only qualified but won in style. A memorable night for the club that will be fondly remembered for a long time. That result and our performance should make everyone sit up and take notice of us. We have to be considered one of the favourites to win it now and rightfully so.

Agree...I have cut him a lot of slack this season but tonight he was very poor : an 'all talk and no trousers' player

i would love us to win this trophy. there's definitely a chance but i just have a feeling we'll come up short against a CL dropout in the quarters or semis. this is such a tough group and we could get 14 points.

we've definitely made a statement so far.

can't agree with all the crap about "everton deserve it because they've shown the competition respect". it's only english teams that show disrespect mainly. all the other teams in the group have been playing their best possible team, we've probably been the most disrespectful in the group because we've played a mix and match of rotation players.
