Great stuff from the boys today. Lovely to see us win in a manner to suit the occasion. That was a really good side they put that on today. Blues in the house were magnificent today. Imagine the possibilities if Lukaku can start to hold and serve like that on a regular basis. Young Garbutt was nails. Back line and Howard were out of their minds today.

Lukaku showed a different side to his game. He showed even with time to think he can slot and that assist for Mirallas? Phwoar.

Barkley looked sound, unlucky to have his first goal ruled out.

Wolfsburg are boss - 2nd in Bundesliga and we've stuffed them 6-1 on aggregate.

And we did it all without Baines, Coleman and Kone.

Delighted by the performace. They were on top a lot during the first half, we relied on a bit of luck. However our defence was excellent and once we had the goal, beautifully taken by Rom, we looked very confident. Considering how many players we have injured, coming back to fitness or new to the team it was an excellent game.

Special mention to Luke who didn't put a foot wrong all game and looked like he'd played this level many times before.
