We're being tested to the limit squad wise but keep coming up with the goods, that for me pound for pound(or euro for euro)was our best performance of the season against an excellent side, can't overstate how impressive over the two games they were and to come out with a 6-1 aggregate is frankly quite amazing, perhaps flattered us but its great how we are showing real savvy in these European games.:D

Thats the kind of performance that is going to carry us through this competition, i'll happily have us playing on the break as long as we can stay solid at the back. Happy happy right now.

Also hope the club do the sensible thing and slash the price of the tickets for the russians visit, fill the ground, let the kids have a run out in front of a packed goodison.

I can't believe how negative some people on here are.

I'm not a beaming ray of sunshine who sees positives in everything but come on!

We've a scored two brilliant counterattacking goals and kept a clean sheet against one of Europe's most in form teams to top the group.

Smile.
You said it Azzurri, top class performance. Perisic didn't threaten at all in the 2nd half!

.....McGeady missed a sitter but he put in an incredible shift in support of Hibbert. They were a real danger on that side and he even found time to get a few blocks in central midfield. I don't agree that he let us down and I bet his team mates are chuffed with him.
As it worked out the sitter wasn't pivotal, and as you say his covering down the right against Perisic stopped Hibbert getting too exposed

ffs lads.

wonderful stuff, group win and one game left to play lolz

BTW DID WE GET SOME EXTRA DOUGH FROM THIS POSITION
