VAR

An upper cut would be classed as violent conduct so treated differently, but you surely aren't surprised to find that normal fouls committed when the ball's not in play aren't given? Have you never watched a game before? I haven't seen a proper real time replay of the Rohl one that shows when the ball came into play compared to when the foul took place so I don't know if it should be an excuse for that particular one, but as a general principle it's pretty well established.
Fine then why not throw all oppisition players to the ground just before the corner is taken.

You're proving my point. Of course you remember all the bad decisions but we'll have had plenty go our way as well, there's just no reason for you to remember them.
No, we haven't. The balance is far outweighed in the against column.

For example everyone remembers the Bolton game in 97 when they had a goal disallowed in a game that finished 0-0 and we stayed up ahead of them on goal difference so we got away with one there*

* It was a clear foul on Big Nev.

Of course we get the odd one in our favour but come on I could list about 20 decisions off the top of my head that have gone against us since the start of the decade.
And actually West Ham were going on about Pickford fouling Soucek in the area but then scored from the corner anyway so didn't moan much but that could easily have been looked at.

And speaking of Pickford, there's also the ACL tackle on Van Dijk that again if we're being honest was awful and a lot of people think VAR should've sent him off for but didn't.

Genuinely, do you ever actually watch football? This type of thing happens, the referee blows his whistle and tells everyone to stop it, and then they carry on. You must surely have noticed this seeing as it's something that happens multiple times in almost every single game.

I'm only going to say it once more, you just don't remember all the ones in our favour. I don't blame you, it's human nature, but honestly, there's no conspiracy against us and in general the number of good/bad decisions will even out over time (although I accept there can be seasons where you have a few defining ones).

Tell you what mate you list all the times you think Everton got away with a decision and I will list all the times we got shafted and we will see who has the bigger list.

Lol that was a 50-50 at best, any way VVD should have already been sent off for 2 yellow offences before that, referee's fault that.

Even out over time, yep course they do.

Was the corner ordered to be retaken when Rohl was rag dolled to the ground V City? If you want to argue about it then argue for consistancy in the application of the rules.

All the VAR just be as thick as each other. They never disagree with each other. When one say's a certain decision, the others just follow. If the ref never seen the West Ham handball, the worst the VAR should do is send him to view it himself

I bet they evened out more pre VAR

I absolutely hate it with a passion.

Can't remember the last time I celebrated a goal without worrying that VAR will somehow wreck it.
This in an absolute nutshell.

If for no other reason VAR should be scrapped for the corrosive effect on the spectator experience. I want spontaneous joy back when we score, not mild hope that it is going to count.
