I'm not really sure what Deli Ali thing you're referring to, it would've been years ago if he was at Spurs and before VAR came in.It is corruption, when blatant handballs aren't given as penalties, such as Deli Ali while playing for Spurs punching it out. No penalty. Surely VAR officials saw it. Whatever it is, VAR should be got rid of because it ruins game.
I'm assuming you mean the West Ham one the other week. I agree it was a handball although I and probably most people don't really know all the rules these days, including the handball ones. I don't think he particularly punched it out deliberately but I do think if it was part of a 'grapple' then surely you aren't allowed to be doing that either so it should've been a pen.
I just don't think it's corruption though. If the West Ham one against us was corruption then who was behind it? If west ham are paying off refs then how come the arsenal one wasn't disallowed this weekend. I just think people shout about corruption because they're frustrated and don't think it through. Every set of fans thinks it's corruption against their own team. How would that even work?! Incompetence and humans failing under immense pressure is a far more likely reason.
Nobody's out to get Everton just like nobody's out to get west ham. The one thing I do agree with is that the league are happier to treat out rules (points deductions etc) on teams outside the top ones. I don't have a massive issue with our points deduction, we did break the rules but I do think it's pretty outrageous that Chelsea didn't get one as well.
