Not going to happen. Usmanov would rather give them away than sell to Kroenke. He has stated he may consider selling them to fans of the club, people who have the best interests of Arsenal in mind. The problem is the there aren’t going to be many of those with a spare £700 million kicking around. For that reason I can’t see this happening, it’s just media speculation that is gaining a sense of credibility purely through it being picked up and repeated by various outlets. In truth it seems more like a Dutch paper writing an article based on creative speculation without any facts and this then being repeated to the point that people believe there may be some truth to it.
Of course I won’t mind being wrong and him bank rolling is with his filthy cash.
