Usmanov

They are mates / business mates.

I can definitely picture Farhad calling his mentor saying “now what?”. And Usmanov wetting himself with laughter for 10mins then, saying “alright alright, I got something for you, I’ll stick my name on your training ground for a bit of FFP balancing...you’re struggling a bit here mate aren’t you??”.

I'm not saying that Usmanov is coming here, I don't think he will, but people questioning his morals and principles are just not getting it. Look who's currently in charge. The bloke that washed all his (perhaps) dirty money, blood money even. Morals and principles go out of the window for multi Billionaires. They live in a different world to us and do as they damned well please. Is it correct to do so? No. Not gonna stop it cos Johnny two-bob down the boozer has a cob on over it though, is it? Either we want a fella with some poke who can get us up to where we belong (in my view), or we can be happy to sit around mid table like we have done for the last however long.

Get him in,is it true he's got more dough than Abramovich:dance::drunk: want my kids and future generation of blues to enjoy what us older blues have seen in us winning trophies and get back amongst the top table, after all, we are the 4th most successful club in English football, plus if he is mates with Putin the Old Lady and Bramley Moore will be ok:cheers:

The positions of chief executive and director of football have recently changed and there is talk that long-time chairman Bill Kenwright will step down at some stage to be replaced by Alisher Usmanov, who is currently a major shareholder at Arsenal.

It's an open secret at this point.

It should happen but there's plenty of time for this to go completely Everton on us.

The idea suggested in the Mail tonight that BK will be replaced by Usmanov as Chairman is laughable.
Usmanov is defo not a front man - he employs people to do exactly that.
However, once he has disposed of his Arsenal shares, there is a good chance he will look to join his mate up north ...

He can do whatever he likes as far as I am concerned mate ;)

Heres a question:

If Usmanov comes in, and you believe he has questionable character and dealings at best, but EITC continues to not only thrive and grow under his leadership, will you be fine with it?
