Also how does it tally with Tue stated stance about Russian companies being unwilling to a sponsor foreign teams in the future (sure you stated that)?

If you are going to vault me get it right. I said that Gazprom had moved their attention from individual club sponsorship (whilst retaining existing interests) to FIFA and UEFA

Just seen elstone's quote from said story on twitter:

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone said: “We are pleased to welcome USM. It is an exciting deal.”
 
Russian companies of late have focused almost solely on internal sports sponsorship, this is 100% against the flow of that mate, and makes zero sense besides as part of a long term strategy.

Riaola being suddenly happy to let lukaku stay doesn't seem so odd no more.

Not really into all the financial stuff, but isn't Moshiri a director of the company, so couldn't the money actually be coming from him to get round FFP?

I did wonder if it was fake after the tweet about them pinching Schneiderlin off us came on here. He'll of a good fake that!
