From what I read, it sounded like it was a way for Usmanov to sell his shares at a high price. Kronke refuses but Usmanov says yes.
Although I dont understad how this works - what if a buyer only wants Kronke's shares. Im sure someone could explain the finer details.
the only possibility is that you wet the bed colin you pathetic spunk bubble. Then is it possible there has to be some sort of official bid made before a shareholder of a certain percentage can move from one premier league team to another. It is a possibility.
I think Kroenke owns 67% of the shares, which Usmanov bid £1B. Therefore his 30% would be valued about £450M.
But why? He won't sell regardless, so nothing tangible gained.
I always look for a motive. Other than baiting Kroenke to buy him out, I can't see another serious motive here.
Went to Dreams today looking for a new bed. Sure there was a large Uzbeki in there looking to buy up the whole store - summat about needing beds 'for my boys down at the Farm'. Its deffo on!Quick whip round?

In summary IF any person bought Kroenkes shares then after that they are legally obligated to offer the same price for all remaining shares to the shareholders of those shares, ofc it's up to the individual owners if they accept or not. It'd be down to them - then owning over a certain % of the shares thus triggering the obligation mate
My understanding is that Usmanov bid $1.34 billion for Kronke's 67%, valuing Arsenal at $2 billion.I think Kroenke owns 67% of the shares, which Usmanov bid £1B. Therefore his 30% would be valued about £450M.

Ah right. I thought if they bid for Kronke's shares and Krobke refused to sell, the potential buyers still had to bid for Usmanovs shares.
Why would Usmanov want to flush out potential buyers if he knows Kronke has no intention of selling?

The end game is afoot. That's what the article said in the FT mate, so probably very close to accurate.
The end game is afoot.
Soon...
What he has done is opened the door for him to exit Arsenal at some point in the not too distant future. He can now leave with his conscience clear and an 'I tried and he wouldn't play ball' wave to the Arsenal fams. What he has done though is kinda set a price above the market current rate for arsenal shares should anyone bid
