His constant stance of "nobody would buy Arsenal shares" always does make me chuckle.

As does his insistence that no one would want 30% of a company without some say or form of control, despite the fact that countless businesses have investors and share owners who have done exactly that.

Hell I'm sure he actually owns a few Everton shares himself, never did ask him why he did when he hasn't any say in what happens with the club

Any investment firm worth their salt would be all over them. Not to mention the Chinese. But ok, that's business.

It's why he left here. Pig headed stubbornness and an overwhelming ignorance to anything resembling a counter argument. That way he can...

to his hearts content now.

That gif goes in the vault. If I had Usmanov's money, I wouldn't need mine.

You'd think a multi-billionaire would know how to dispose of shares if needed. I also think a multi-billionaire would know more than The Esk on everything relating to his shares & Arsenal.

Which is in a way a huge shame as on certain things - financials etc he was a good poster and actually a really nice bloke to boot.

Then again, the summer and subsequent actions have shown he wanted a higher profile to gain more of an audience, which ultimately he has achieved, so whatever the original motives - fair play - he got what he wanted.

The thing is Usmanov doesn't need to buy us as he has a form of influence in us via Moshiri. Why own a stake in 1 PL Club when you can have a stake in 2. Usmanov will never buy into us imo.

There will be investment brokers the world over eagerly watching developments at Arsenal with offers already in place. They'll shift no problem.
