he bought the shares off moshiri in the first place, giving him a fast and easy out of Arsenal

moshiri wouldnt even be the billionaire he is without usmanov giving him 10% of his company.

any funds moshiri has aquired has most probably come from usmanovs pockets.

with the sponsoirship deal, usmanov is ploughing more dough into us 'indirectly'

for all we know moshiri is just usmanovs puppet here..

I think he "gave him" that because he was his investment advisor/ personal banker wasn't he ? 10% being the general commission percentage suggests that he actually earned it, the fact that he is a billionaire suggests that he made Mr Usmanov a fair old butty.

I think it's very naive to assume Usmanov has zero interest in us imo.

I'm not a believer of him waiting to jump on board neither do I believe he wants to 'bankroll' us.

Personally I think him and Moshiri have realised the premier league is a money making game atm and the pair of them can make a profit long term by owning two of the top sides in the division (arsenal and Everton) something which on there own they couldn't legally do.

They are partners in everything and went into football together, I don't believe for a second they parted ways because Moshiri wanted to own a club outright and Usmanov has no connection.

Their board could, in theory, flip their support from Kroenke to Usmanov, given his now-proven desire to invest in a Premier League club.

I just hope we're not being used in a shady blackmail plot.

How can they legitimately "own" two clubs if not as individuals?
Assuming the USM sponsorship passed the commercial transaction critera, there is no connection in the mind of EPL surely?

I think most of us suspect and acknowledge now that Usmanov has serious interest in Everton. They can't declare he legally owns us, but if he were to sell his shares tomorrow, how long do you think it would be until he formally took over?

theres no EPL connection, but we all know whats really happening, just the EPL cant do anything about it as it passes their own criteria

Well no mate. If Usmanov was involved at Everton we would not be haggling for weeks over a million or two on our top January target as we did with Morgan Schneiderlin. We'd be throwing money at the game's elite.
