There is no point in Usmanov coming atm as its not the old days we you can spend billions with no worries. Until our income sheets are vastly better he will stay at Arsenal, although he has given us a push in the right direction

It's to do with fair value of sponsorship. You are allowed to sponsor your own club but it has to be in line with other similar sponsorships. I think with the level of the deal we have we will be fine as it is not some outlandish figure.

City had problems with this sort of thing when they signed a £400m 10-year naming rights deal with Etihad.

Dont expect them to say anything else to a reporter at this stage, what they say publicly and what is said privately are two different things, i doubt they will come out publicly and declare interest.

No change for me, still think this will happen in the future.

Yep. Until we win something and are consistently above them/challenging them, then I'm afraid most of our fans look as mental as they do with all the Usmanov and mega stadium on the docks talk. Get ya wallet out Farhad.

Bang on. They spend their time worrying about Man U not us.

Usmanov won't change much. City, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal will still attract the big players whilst we haggle over £2m for Man U rejects.

They worry about everyone who has overtaken them, they're obsessed with United because Fergie knocked them off their perch, Chelsea too and they know all those years of one way banter will hit them like a baseball bat if we get where we may be heading. They fear us but at the moment, because we're crap they can use ridicule, if we get a big sponsored stadium on the docks and a team to match, it's the end of life as they know it, their worst fears come true. It's coming.
