As I said when Usmanov when Moshiri first arrived and will be true until the day Usmanov formally buys into the club (if he does) there will be 3 possibilities. This sponsorship just puts us further along the path.
1) He will put money towards Everton to try and pressure Kroenke to remain at Arsenal.
2) He will join Everton and work alongside Moshiri (to varying degrees).
3) They will both seek further investment once they have control.
If it's 1, and he ends up going to Arsenal then we remain in far better shape than under Kenwight. We have been given 15 million quid a year over 5 years we didn't have. I expect more sponsorship to come in other areas. While the club will not be on a par with all of the top 6 we will have closed the gap and be getting closer to Spurs.
We will also have a stadium that will generate more money. Far rosier than what we had under Kenwright but by no means a super club.
For 2 we will become, over quite a short period of time one of the biggest and most feared clubs in the country. Our backing would be second to only Manchester City and PSG wider afield. We have more business acumen than those clubs and a greater tradition and base than City.
We would be competing to win the league within 5 years.
Option 3, if he can attract further investment from possibly China or Russia and I think we would have more money than anyone. Unlikely but terrifying.
I don't think money is any obstacle for us. Welcome to the good times.
