Timothy F Cahill.

He embodied everything I love about football. He oozed that positive auzie winning mentality. He’d fight to win a throw in like his life depended on it. He looked after his teammates. He was a dirty little barstard, but clever with it. Never complained when he got kicked, just got on with it & paid back with interest. Like the anti-mirallas really.
While I share your admiration for Tim Cahill, I don't think he's under-rated by Everton fans. I'd say he's one of the most popular players to have played for us this century.

Mr. Brown: Now this is a simple acronym: H.E.R.O. At Diversity, we believe it's very easy to be a hero. All you need are: Honesty, Empathy, Respect, and Open-mindedness.

Dwight Schrute: Excuse me, I'm sorry, but that's not all it takes to be a hero.

Mr. Brown: Okay well, what is a hero to you?

Dwight Schrute: A hero kills people, people that wish him harm. A hero is part human and part supernatural. A hero is born out of a childhood trauma, or out of a disaster, and must be avenged.

Mr. Brown: Uh, okay, you're thinking of a superhero.

Carsley - think Madrid thought him and Tommy G were one and the same player.

Pejic - At the time, the best left-back we had since the great Ramon Wilson. Had a Baines/Pienaar relationship with Dave Thomas. His injury scuppered that 78/79 team.

Clements - for about 18 months was brilliant for us. Great left foot, intelligent, strong in the tackle, laid Keegan out - what more could you ask?
