Dario Terracotta

Player Valuation: £70m
Dozing off this lazy Sunday in the sun got me thinking,1969-70,Tommy Jackson,Sandy Brown(bit before my time!!)mid 80's loads though, Pointon,Adams,Langley,Mimms,Wilkinson, Harper and Richardson obviously, the other lads were great for us in 1986-87 in the light of a horrendous injury list in the first half of the season in particular which kept us hanging in until our major players returned, any I've ommited?was going to say Paul power but he became a fixture:)

Kev richardson the obvious one, both kev campbell and duncan kept us up single handed in different seasons, Pienaar is someone who perhaps doesn't get mentioned outside of everton but was a fantastic footballer. I felt Don Hutchinson was a good player a few others that depend on your perception of the question I suppose.

Be interesting to hear some shouts off older members

I was fuming when we didn't agree to pay Hutchinson the 20k a week he wanted then paid the same sum to a completely washed up Mark Hughes

Gareth Farrelly the best example IMO.

That man has never been given the hero status his goal versus Cov deserves.

The partnership he struck up with Jeffers probably saved us from crashing through the relegation trapdoor under that plank Smith.

Ferguson: I cant think of his single handed contribution in keeping us up. He did his level best to get us relegated by getting sent off, I remember that.

Don Hutchison will always be revered by me for punching that weird egotist Richard Gough in the boat.

In Kendall's ill fated third season Big Dunc was worth his weight in gold, and he didn't have a player as talented as francis jeffers to help, good shout on mentioning Gough, he was also excellent for a short period, and a terrific leader as well.

Biggest self-publicist I ever came across in football.

Richard Dunne did the work, he claimed the credit. Echo favourite: Richard Gough....enough to condemn any man.

Big fan of Pienaar as a player. Kinda glad he's is long gone - it would have been horrible watching such a natural footballer get strangled under Allardyce's tenure.
