I don't see why not. If the money is really there he would come.

Not a bad idea really. After his successful stints at Valencia & Sevilla, the question was always about how he'd fare at a larger club or one with far more in the way of finances. Emery has a combative & abrasive approach which has typically marginalized many players along the way but PSG showed he could not manage bigger personalities, ultimately it was too big a task - Tuchel might find it similar, of course

He's been linked to Sociedad but has refuted the rumours as he has confirmed that Europa or CL competitions motivate him most - so any potential club will need to be in that category which would likely rule Everton out atm

Burnley?

Winning three European trophies on the bounce is a tremendous achievement.

Particularly beating the other shower in the third one...

I'm a big fan of Dick.

Get Dick in!

(Emery)

And replace the popular & English Dyche? Improbable

I'm more inclined to think its a return to Spain but Villarreal are happy with Calleja and Betis with Setien. Valencia with Marcelino also unlikely.

AC Milan just renewed Gattuso who is a legend at the club so not likely there anymore than firing Inzaghi at Lazio.

Really just leaves one option based on what he has suggested in the press, Chelsea - although they seem to have eyes for Sarri

No thanks.

No thanks.
So you would rather have Silva who managed the mighty Hull (relegated) and Watford (Sacked)

But not have a guy who has:

Managed:

Valencia

Sevilla: Won the Europa league 3 times In a row.

PSG: Won the title and a load of other cups.

Oh and has been named European coach of the season before.

Hmmm makes sense.

We are a mid table, poorly run, shamble of a football club.
Who wouldn't want to meet with him! ;)
We will be offering him a salary north of 100k per week.
I would expect that there will be a substantial transfer budget again and there is a core of very good players at the club and a core of young academy players that may become very good players.

I think as a club we will be attractive to a lot of good managers.

We have had one awful season, but as late as last August we were being tipped for a top six finish or even better.
There is the basis there already to build a very good team... with the right manager.
