It looks like there is some sort of troop withdrawal taking place, and Putin is taking credit for the west being "humiliated and destroyed." I guess that is the way he will say it happened in the Russian press, while the west knows differently

What did Ukraine want to happen in Crimea? How did that work out?

I also know, that like Crimea, those regions have sufficient Russian sympathies and actual Russians in them that they'd fall in line quite easily.

Looks like Putin is now putting direct pressure on Zelensky to fully accept and recognise all the terms of the Minsk agreement in relation to Eastern Ukraine.

He's now claiming that Ukraine is commiting genocide in those areas.

1. Zelensky will never accept the terms of the Minsk agreement
2. This will give Russia a pretext for war
