Russia has taken ~20% of Ukraine since the invasion. I would guess he wants to get as close to 30/40% to then claim a majority, a Russian one at that’s not remotely accurate. I guess at least another 18/24 months left on this - my uneducated guess, Trump will weaken the Ukraine offensive in ways that don’t outright favour Russia - but he will.

Out of interest, what does 'claim a majority' mean? This isn't an election or a hostile takeover of a business where reaching a certain % actually means something.

Pardon my ignorance, but is there even a scrap of evidence that North Koreans are fighting there to get killed / wounded?

Surely there'd be evidence of dead bodies or captures?
