Not that you'd even be able to tell the difference between Ukrainian and Russian - Zekensky for example speaks Ukrainian horribly, to be expected though as he's a native russian speaker.

In actual fact Europe pretty much did exactly that in large part - the exceptions being Britain as an island nation able to resist - and Russia/USSR who refused to yield despite the horrific costs.

The rest of Europe folded like a cheap suit, Poland resisted bravely, outside of those who actually fought to resist ...

You agree with Davek? that all countries should just give in to any dictatorships that want to invade them and rule with an iron fist over each population because it will save lives?

What's the point in limiting the loss of lives if the only people left get to live with no freedom, no democracy and an authoritarian regime that doesn't even let them have fair elections?

He openly supports Putin and has posted this on multiple occasions.

Simple answer is to pay people desperate and stupid enough to commit acts of terrorism.

But doing so you lose all claim of being an innocent victim if the same happens back.

Same as assassinating military officers outside their homes or with car bombs etc.

Act of desperation doing so in reality.

As a country, I think we'd be pretty desperate if we'd been invaded by an aggressor, our land ruined, cities attacked, population harassed and hurts and whatnot.

Let's not forget, only one country started this war, and for reasons of territorial gain.
