As with most of the things he puts out, that does not appear to be what the Duma actually voted for - according to the original article that he probably stole that off, what was suggested was more akin to food vouchers for the poor.

Hold on, are you suggesting Generalfeldmarschall von Vernacular is feeding the forum misinformation peddled by one of his sad blogger buddies?

🤔

He's generally on the money and gets things early. Russian economic issues continue to build with no sign of improvement and with economy on a war footing 2025 is likely to be a tough year. Sanctions and the reality of being at war will see the need for interventions such as food cards and the like. Putin will still be living like a king though.

Isn't he the same guy who claimed someone in the FSB was emailing him the secrets of the regime?

The supposed source in the “FSB” was emailing an exiled Russian dissident by the name of Vladimir Osechkin. Shushko was I believe writing for the Spectator at the time and ran the story.

Some parts of the transcribed text are interesting and some say written in the style of an intelligence analyst. One interesting snippet foretold 2yrs ago the collapse of the Russian economy and how it was being propped up by the Russian Central Bank.

Is it legit - who knows?
