Out of interest, does the Russian media mention the civilian targets they are bombing or do you have to find out from overseas sources?
I don't really consume much russian media but yeah it's not covered - unless they are trying to debunk something - the NPP shelling in Zaph for example or if a place is struck and there's evidence it was by either AA or a downed missile by AA.
Neither side is showing the actual events how they happened imo, both have very good reasons to portray it in a very propogandised way.
A lot of the truth of what happened in a huge number of incidents won't come out for a long long time is my best guess.
It's probably, actually no probably about it, it is the single most propogandised conflict in history right now. From all countries involved media and politicians.
Want to have the best idea then the only choice is to read/listen to both sides and try to find at least some neutral or at least not super biased sources, read them than use reasoning to make a decision based on that.
Way too many people in here see articles linked then just assume because it's from a none russian source it must be the truth, don't think I've ever linked say RT or Sputnik articles - why not, because by and large they will tell only the russian version - even if that happens to be one hundred percent true it'll still not be trustworthy for example as the source is compromised. But yet on here I regularly see things from places like the Atlantic council - Deborah Kagan runs it, Wash Post - Robert Kagan the consulting editor (NAI founder, Carnegie fellow various other links to different outlets also)
The Institute for the study of war ISW - founded by Kimberley Kagan.
Roberts wife ofc is victoria Neuland - her of the Ukrainian cookie handouts during the 2014 maidan, and arch neocon.
Kimberly is the wife if the other son Frederick Kagan.
Their father ofc the noted Donald Kagan - who was a lecturer at Yale, one of his students was Anne Applebaum vehement anti russian historian and arch neocon - russian expert/writer for the Atlantic - just so happens she's married to the Polish Defence minister btw.
The Kagan clan has long since had a very very clear agenda against Russia and are interwoven through a huge amount of the media, NGOs and politics.
