Think Orban is right they can't win long term against Russia, but can Russia really win as well.
Nato expand on there border, massive casualties , the economy getting hit, the myth of there armed forces being invincible in tatters.
The longer it goes on the more the Russian people will question the leadership, the country being invaded , body bags coming home, having to get troops from other countries in to fight for them ect not very good for the image abroad or at home.
If the Ukraine get to use missiles more inside Russia that will hit home even more.
Somewhere along the line there will have to be peace talks.

The innocents with no interest in putin's war are also collateral like Ukrainian civilians targeted for want of being able to kill anyone else.

Some may be firm believers, but I am firmly lead to believe the propaganda state of russki would make berlusconi weep with envy.

Kill all the soldiers and commanders they can, ten four, sink the ships, knock out the crimea bridge, annihilate every last tank and APC, but non military targets are an area to be avoided.

significant civilian casualties in russia only aid his clarion call for more volunteers. "sign up today to defeat the western nazi scum" etc.

and if we can condemn israeli targeting elderly, women and children, then we can't really promote similar by Ukraine.

Maybe it's a double bluff, 'gimme long range stuff to knock out training bases and airfields and ammo dumps or I'm dropping all the civilians I can reach'.

They can’t win on their own. The West has been frightened of Putin throughout all this, when tbh there’s no need. Give them all the assistance they need and Putin is gone. Bringing in North Koreans to fight for them just shows them up tbh……

When your main supporter's top military experts say you can't win,you can't win. That was the time for peace talks.

The body bags are mostly going to the far flung regions of Russia,those out in the poorest parts are being (for them) offered huge amounts of money to sign up. Putin is evil,but not stupid.
