The political infighting continues as the counter offensive's defeat becomes a weapon to settle old political scores against Zelensky.

He'll be replaced soon enough.

The political feuding, according to analysts, could be seen as a worrying sign that the unity that has held the country together in the face of Russian aggression is beginning to crack, just as the war settles into a grinding stand-off at the end of a disappointing Ukrainian counteroffensive.

The deepening rifts and mudslinging come amid fraught debates in the US and EU over the future of financial and military aid for Kyiv. Some officials and analysts in Ukraine are concerned that the internal squabbles could discourage western allies from maintaining their support.

“I am watching what is happening in our politics recently not with sadness, but with horror,” said Volodymyr Fesenko, a political analyst and director of the Penta Centre for Political Studies, a Kyiv-based think-tank. “If this vortex of conflict is not stopped, it could all end badly. Not for those fighting among themselves, but for the country.”

Dr steelhammer would be a better leader.

How are things in Russia you clagnut

Ukraine might struggle without the US pouring money and armaments in.
Mood music says this is heading to a negotiated settlement.

Internal politics of Ukraine has moved against Zelensky and his critics are now legion and vociferous.

Regionally they cant get even their near neighbours to back them with hostile actions in Poland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

Internationally their backers in NATO and Washington have deserted them with only the Germans promising substantial financial backing.

Above all, militarily they've been vanquished.

Time for a peace deal.

The time was probably a year ago to prevent loss of life, damage to property against the balance of what territory could be regained.

The counter argument is that Ukraine never gives up and continues to fight for its lost lands and people no matter the cost. Would not envy Zelensky that choice.

It needs to be taken out of his hands. He has failed.

This would be the reality of Zelenskyy or any other leader surrendering occupied land to Putin.

A large battle hardened military would make the IRA look like the Vienna Boys Choir. It is clear that the only end to this is Russian withdrawl from Ukraine.
