Putin and his fellow mob bosses are clearly getting twitchy that the populations they oppress might be wriggling from under their boots.

Chechen Republic Head Ramzan Kadyrov's response to the October 29 antisemitic riots in the Republic of Dagestan suggests that Russian officials may be increasingly concerned about the weakening of authoritarian control in regions on the periphery of the Russian Federation. Kadyrov responded to the riots in Dagestan by praising Russian President Vladimir Putin's accusation that the West orchestrated the situation to destabilize Russia.[1] Kadyrov later called on Chechen security forces to immediately detain instigators of any potential riots in Chechnya or to "fire three warning shots in the air and after that, fire the fourth shot in the head."[2] Kadyrov's reactions to the riots in Dagestan suggest that he is first and foremost concerned with maintaining the perception of his unwavering support of Putin and secondly with demonstrating the strength of his authoritarian rule over Chechnya by threatening a violent response to potential future riots.[3]

The only way to end this US proxy war in Ukraine, is a negotiated settlement. But the US, the UK and the EU and it's unelected bureaucrats refuse to allow this. West centric, benefits and losses, view of the world are determined to see Ukraine fight to the last Ukranian. And after losing hundreds and hundreds of thousands dead and a collosal amount injured and maimed, they've got no more people to call up. It's not surprising the military are refusing Zelensky's orders.

If Kyiv wish for their numbers to be taken seriously they should be revealing the number of their own casualties. Until that point what they claim should be filed under the category 'Another BS call from Kyiv'.
 
Interesting views of two Republican Senators or Congressmen (didn't catch their names) on Radio 4. They don't want to couple Ukraine funding with funding for the occupiers of Palestine. They think the latter is more important. They only want to fund Netanyahu. They said, 'we have to deal with what a Russian victory will look like'. The US Empire will drop Ukraine as quick as you can say Kabul.

When this is over the people of the Donbass can start to not fear Ukrainian incoming missiles that have killed thousands of civilians, including children and maimed and injured thousands.

Right from the start of Russia's openly intervention into the Ukraine civil war, any figures, whether that be casualties, or armoured vehicles, or poor training, low moral, they've attributed to Russia are their own. They listen to the Russian Defence Ministry and then spin it.
 
Its no wonder the the Russians are getting wiped out in their thousands at Adviivka. Words from a Russian instructor, irreversible losses of between 40-70%! :Blink:

"Let's return to some of our sad circumstances.

Storm-Z assault detachments in the Avdeevsky direction and the southern flank of Bakhmut (I don’t know about other directions) literally in just a few days of active operations are ground down to almost zero. On average, the level of irretrievable losses varies between ~40-70%, and sanitary losses, accordingly, amount to about ~60-30% of personnel.

Firstly, we have the problem of an insufficient level of training of personnel, up to blatant situations when people are dressed and equipped (rather poorly), given weapons and sent to the front line because they are on fire.

Secondly, a critical problem is the lack of proper artillery support for attacks and counterattacks, which in fact turn into those very notorious meat assaults.

Thirdly, there is a persistent practice of depriving assault detachments of the initiative in terms of choosing options for carrying out the assigned combat mission, even in cases where detachment commanders are able to propose and implement such options.

Fourthly, assault troops are often thrown into battle in an emergency mode, practically from the wheels, without being introduced to the situation and given time to conduct reconnaissance and establish interaction with adjacent units.

Fifthly, the high level of irretrievable losses is due to objective difficulties in evacuating the wounded from the battlefield in conditions of predominance and, even more so, domination of enemy artillery.

The combination of the above factors leads to the regular dismantling of assault troops into trash without them achieving any significant results.

At the same time, more or less trained detachments also suffer heavy losses, with the only difference being that remnants of such detachments periodically still reach contact and take at least someone with them.

I am aware of the specific attitude of the army command towards these detachments and understand perfectly well that these are essentially penal companies. However, if we put the lyrics aside, we in fact have a frankly irrational use and ineffective waste of a sufficiently motivated human resource."

In my estimation, from reading around, something like 200,000 Ukrainians have been killed from a fighting force of what, a million if we include reservists?

That's devastating.

No wonder they've turned to 40 and 50 year olds.
