Knew a guy from Skopje in North Macedonia's military back when that all went sideways in '01. That whole region is just a mess. Unfortunate to see the Russians stirring that pot again, but it's not hard to see why. As they increase the number of fronts for the US to cope with, the aid available to Ukraine decreases.

I have to say that whether people are fans of the US or not, the democracies of the world are going to need are cousins from across the pond with what Putin and Xi are cooking.

Watched Channel 4 news and there's no mention of Ukraine. It didn't take that long before Zelensky was dumped.

With the events around occupied Palestine, taking precedence for the US Empire, Ukraine are suffering from the Afghan effect, 'Get the humiliating defeat off the news'.

The Ukraine people need to demand their government sue for peace and a negotiated settlement. That is if the west centric warmongers allow them to.

TBF any discussion on Kosovo that doesn't take into account Kurti's role in stoking tensions, or that (given how Kosovo became independent) that the majority Serb areas might have a case for wanting to be part of Serbia instead, isn't a very good one.
