If it was that straightforward they’d have done it already. I stand by my statement that nato doesn’t have the numbers. Or the will.
Not sure you know what NATO is actually for.

You tell me.Not sure you know what NATO is actually for.
The NATO response force currently consists of approx 50KThere aren’t the number of forces - anywhere. Which European nations soldiers are going get out of bed for Ukraine? The French ? The Germans? I don’t think so.
We barely have 70k personnel in total in the army while the Russians raised 300k in 3 weeks
NATO had no interest in invading Russia. That has been acknowledged by Russia since the Wagner incident. Putins and his generals lust for Ukraine resources is the factor that will see NATO expand to every European border, as countries such as Finland, Sweden and Ukraine understand why NATO was created i.e. to counter Russian imperialistic and colonial ambitions. I know that you are on a wind up but this is how it is.If it was that straightforward they’d have done it already. I stand by my statement that nato doesn’t have the numbers. Or the will.
Shame we will never find out.The NATO response force currently consists of approx 50K
This force consists of land, air, naval and spec ops assets. It is by nature a multi-national rapid deployment force under a single command structure (SACEUR).
This force is highly capable and trains constantly - in the event of a full scale war with Russia they would be able to deploy completely in 5-10days. Obviously NATO can then draw on the military resources of each member state to feed into theatre as it sees fit.
Given the current state of the Russian army the NRF would wipe the floor with Putin’s scruffs without the need for further backup.
300KRaw conscripts, press-ganged Cubans and fat knackered criminals. Against a highly trained, professional force they’d get a right kicking.
Not necessarily invading Russia but certainly challenging them directly in or over UkraineNATO had no interest in invading Russia. That has been acknowledged by Russia since the Wagner incident. Ukraine has nothing to do with Russia beyond Russia's colonial ambitions. Not necessarily invading Russia but certainly challenging them directly in or over Ukraine
I’ve no idea why you’ve avoided the topic of why won’t nato intervene in Ukraine when it has done so in plenty of other disputes including the use of carpet bombingUkraine has nothing to do with Russia beyond Russia's colonial ambitions.
Ukrainians have every right to choose their future, be that in the EU, NATO are whatever.
Once Russia are kicked out of Ukraine there will be a push to fast track them into both.
The question for Russians beyond this is whether they wish to live under a brutal dictatorial regime or to fight for democracy - and for the outlying federation states, independence.
Maybe they should have been handed that chance by the West before they installed a market-friendly kleptocracy into power.Ukraine has nothing to do with Russia beyond Russia's colonial ambitions.

80% approval rating for him in Russia.Maybe they should have been handed that chance by the West before they installed a market-friendly kleptocracy into power.
Then some people wonder why the Russians dont buy into the theory that getting rid of Putin's regime - which brought about a certain stability in that state through national chauvinism - to replace them with more western stooges would be the answer.
Without NATO support Ukraine would be in a terrible position.I’ve no idea why you’ve avoided the topic of why won’t nato intervene in Ukraine when it has done so in plenty of other disputes including the use of carpet bombing

And nearer 90% approval in occupied Ukraine, which is quite a thing given all the murder rape and kidnap.80% approval rating for him in Russia.
Rubbish like Macron, Sunak would be delighted with 30%
Anybody who criticises him will end up eating rat and mouldy beetroot in a Siberian gulag.80% approval rating for him in Russia.
