If a nuclear attack was made on the U.K. or France, Russia would disappear…..nothing even to do with the USA…..you may need to rethink your stance here…

Think you are going off piste here,the question is would the US and NATO react to Russia using a theatre nuclear weapon in Ukraine by launching a retaliatory strike? Given that a high percentage of the American population probably couldn't find Ukraine on a map it's highly unlikely.

Actually the way the UK deterrent is set up means one of the likely ways it would ever be launched would be without the tacit agreement (for that launch) of the UK government, never mind the US.

Because I am not talking about all out nuclear strikes on Europe which is fantasy land stuff, but maybe a single or 2 warheads sent towards the UK as a warning to desist.
