Oh compared to invading a country, the death of thousands, billions and billions of damage, displacement of millions of people, threats of nuclear war, and the crashing of world economy this is just another day at the office for Putin.

True enough, I think it's really easy to forget what the mindset of these people really is, as it seems so alien (much like the tories in the uk). That anyone could consider human life, biodiversity and ecological disaster to be a price worth paying for personal glory is mental. But, our rulers have a loooooong history of this behaviour
