I agree that over the years tax has gone up to repair the damage done by the last Labour government and then of course to recover from Covid. Sunak as chancellor and then as PM with Hunt did the country no favours, so I look forward to Labour reducing taxation, which obviously they will do won’t they…….

I personally am under no illusion that it will be prosperous or harmonious. The country is broken, society is broken, trust is broken, hope is broken. The divisive policies of this Tory party have driven the working classes and the poor ( basically ally all one group to be honest) against each other… hatred and finger pointing is the way of the country now.. encouraged by those in power who are reaping the profits of this. Nothing works in Britain anymore… schools, social care, hospitals, ambulance service, police, the armed forces, …. The list is endless …. And it’s not fixable in the next 5 years… and probably the 6 years after that too. That’s what your Tory party have left for your grandchildren and their children to contend with.

I'd do it slightly differently. National vote to reconsider brexit now we all know what we do regarding it's complete success*.

There is no undoing brexit, the rebate will never be agreed to again, the cosy deal thatcher struck with europe is gone. Amazing that it took depraved tories to undo the only positive thing of note their personal satan gave to the people.
