…..please vote Labour and don’t forget to take your ID ;)

Don't forget to vote Lib Dem tactically if it will knock a Tory out of the race! Or SNP in Scotland, etc.

Not only do we lose more Tories, but there's a slim chance of them not even being the Opposition and us getting to watch some new horror like Braverman try to make a fascist splash from the back corner with her 2 questions whilst Sir Ed asks his 6 bouncing on a space hopper.

Anyway come Thursday/Friday, you’ll get to see Starmer in no10, I’ll get to see the backstabber and many of his cronies thrown out of office and I can have five years of poking fun at Starmer and co looking like idiots. We’ll all be paying a lot more tax of course but that’s what you will have voted for so that’s all fine…enjoy the moment……
You see, this is what bugs me, your party have put tax up 27 times … yet their best form Of attack is to mention tax rises ???

Yes but you see those were all enforced tax rises that they didn't want to do, but how else was Michelle Mone's yacht going to get paid for? It was a time for the nation to pull together and make sacrifices so that the rich Tory donors could treat themselves.

It pained the Tories to raise taxes, but Labour want to do it, and then use all the extra cash for fripperies like increased public services, with any left over going to cover the CGT bills of Northern Single Mums, and that's just not on.

You really should be nicer to people…it’s the difference between cordial discussion and debate, even if at different ends of the spectrum, once you learn that that you’ll grow up…..
You are a bigot though when it comes to Johnson, so you deserve to be spoken down to.

And being a bigot means it’s you who needs to do the growing up.

A stupid, unfunny, supporter of the worst pm in living history and a bigot. It’s not a good attribute Pete lad.

Kettles my head this , thie Government have overseen the largest tax rises since the Second World War and I think it’s fair to say probably the biggest decline in satisfaction with services but Tories still parrot this line .

Just listened to an interview with Mel stride and he’s openly conceded and spoke about facing an unprecedented labour landslide. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the main parties concede before an election before , obviously it seems obvious but it was a real surprise.

No, it’s a week when we hope to get rid of a party moving ever more right and showing signs of being actually fascist. In the hope that the party that replace them at least behave in a way befitting a government and maybe start to make things better for people again.

It will not be a quick fix and it might not work out but the only other option is putting this putrid Tory party back in again. And I, like many on here, am willing to take that option.

Of course I would like a better option than Starmer. But we have the choice we have and it boils down to Starmer and his version of Labour vs Sunak and his version of the Tories. And for me that is a very simple choice to make.
That's a yes, we are swapping Thatcherite's and expecting change.

Thatcher would vote for this Labour party. Blair and New Labour were her "greatest achievements" after all.

I hope you're right but I don't see it.

Not much I can do whilst the political system is rigged for the elites. I just don't expect swapping one Thatcherite for another to bring about change. Do you?
I've said a few times over the past couple of months that I don't expect a huge amount to change because the tax burden is already at historic highs, the government is still spending more than it generates despite this, and also despite this, public services are in a pickle. Couple all of that with the fact that inflation and interest remain somewhat unfavourable to simply printing a load of money, and it's hard to see how things can be an awful lot different.

That's my rationale. I was just wondering what yours was and what your left wing party of choice would do differently.
