I'd say 99% of normal people have probably never even met a genuine far left or far right 'extremist'

Maybe, but we are awash with far right content nowadays and of course what is and what is not left or right wing is a bit of a moveable feast anyway.

If you told people you could have a government that had free (albeit means tested) tertiary education, publicly owned railways, a more comprehensive and cheaper NHS, stronger unions and far more public housing they’d probably assume you were some kind of hard left Momentumite rather than just describing what Thatcher’s government was like throughout her reign.

Thought the Thatcher government got rid of Council housing, well as I remember anyway.

Because the Left-wing have been sooooooooooooo influential for the past 14 years, haven't they? Bloody snowflakes. First Brexit, and then the rampantly dishonest 2019 campaign - a pair of victories the Right will hopefully never recover from.

Then why do they want rid of him in the first vote since he lost the Labour whip?

He's a career oppositionist, all he's ever cared about is leading a protest movement and only engaging with people whom already agree with him. He handed the keys to No.10 to the two worst Tory PMs in history, May then Johnson. All whilst cheering about "winning the argument". Cause that makes a difference in people's lives doesn't it Jeremy. Whenever he appears on mainstream TV and has his positions and past allegiences challenged by adept interviewers, without fail he loses his rag and resorts to petutalance. Quite simply he's a joke of a political leader, with evidence being born out of the fact he can't even retain his constituency without the party's help.

Yes he's a more fundamentally decent human being that most of the Tory mob we've been subjected too over the last 14 years. However, that doesn't mean he isn't a ridiculous figure with his supporters actual rivalling Trump's in terms of sheer lunacy to defend him at all costs, and ignore readily available facts about his record.
back in the real world....
"This week the first constituency-specific poll of the campaign put Labour’s support at 43% and Corbyn’s at 29%. But when people were asked to pick directly between Corbyn and Labour, he was ahead, by 48% to 40%."

Think the problem here is that the majority of people don’t even know what left wing is and their opinion has been formed from watching too many 80s cop movies with baddie Russian comrades.
I’ll be honest…. I no longer know if I’m left wing, a centrist, a wokey (whatever that is), a snowflake, a boomer or a gen z ffs

Boring now.

Just get this done and then we can start to get the Tories out.

…it doesn’t suit your agenda but there’ll be a much better public services offer under Labour, there always is. As somebody who worked in the public sector for 41 years, I know the difference and it’ll be the same this time.

In 5 years waiting lists will be right down, you won’t gave to wait 2 hours for an ambulance. These are the type of things that matter.

How will the public services get better if there’s not enough money going in?

Labour aren’t offering anything in this campaign to suggest they’re willing to fund public services as much as they should.
