….only if George disappoints, let’s not forget Moyes played Armstrong ahead of McNeil at Brighton and brought Dibling on from the bench. McNeil plays ahead of Dibling during AFCON because he was the better option.
McNeil's head will be all over the place after that move fell through,
manager obviously dosnt see him as important,
fans wanted him gone,
really hasn't any future here in the long run.
Dont expect to see much of him for a while
On a plus piont he might see it as an opportunity to be in the shop window and put in a shift.
Feel sorry for him but cant see the piont of playing him unless we have injury problems.
That should give George plenty of opportunity to get on the pitch.

There was no point playing him previously and there’s even less point now.

….disagree, we last saw McNeil against Leeds. His part in their goal was unforgivable, I think the type of thing that really disappoints and annoys Moyes.

He was hooked at half-time and we haven’t seen him since. I’d be sure that’s the reason. I actually doubt Moyes would’ve sanctioned the transfer had it not been for that incident, he’s now got to re-earn the trust of the manager to play a part this season. Over to George.
I hope you are right. But ive seen that type of performance many times from dwight, and he gets chance after chance.

That said im expecting Armstrong on the wing and 4 cbs the next few weeks.

George hasnt played since since November, expect him to be bedded in slowly.

If trotting back for that Leeds goal got him withdrawn then Gana should have been hooked as well. Moyes may play McNeil again but sadly it'll be out of position as usual.

If his option to buy is 35 million, is this loan balls?

I feel perception could change markedly.

….as far as Chelsea is concerned I think that’d be reasonable. If you’re the selling club, you’d look at how much Everton paid for Dibling as a benchmark. This lad has a similar profile, similar age, U21 England international and got games in a much stronger team than Southampton.
